What it does
The South America Map Quiz is a free browser game that asks you to find the 12 independent countries of South America on a blank map. Each turn names a country and you click it; a wrong click highlights the right place. A round takes about a minute, practice mode repeats your misses, and timed mode records your best time.
How to use it
- Find the named country
Click the country named above the map. Guyana, Suriname and Uruguay are the smallest.
- Race the clock
Switch to Timed mode once you know the map and try to beat your best time.
- Drill your mistakes
At the end you see your score, your time and everything you missed. Press Practice the ones you missed to replay only those.
Limits and notes
- French Guiana is part of France and the Falkland Islands are a British territory; both are drawn as background and not asked.
- Borders come from Natural Earth (1:50m) and are simplified so the map loads fast.
- Scores and best times are kept only in this browser. Clearing site data resets them.
