What it does
The Central America Map Quiz is a free browser game that asks you to find the seven countries of the Central American isthmus on a blank map: Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. A round takes under a minute, a wrong click highlights the right place, and timed mode records your best time.
How to use it
- Find the named country
Click the country named above the map. El Salvador is the only one without a Caribbean coast.
- Race the clock
Switch to Timed mode and try to place all seven without a miss.
- Drill your mistakes
At the end you see your score, your time and everything you missed. Press Practice the ones you missed to replay only those.
Limits and notes
- Mexico and the Caribbean islands are drawn as background and are not asked.
- Borders come from Natural Earth (1:50m) and are simplified so the map loads fast.
- Scores and best times are kept only in this browser. Clearing site data resets them.
